A client of mine gave me this when Tiny Damsel of Aslan's Pride went on to the other side. My dogs are members of my family and it is heartbreaking being left behind when they go on to their just rewards.
This was a blessing to me...may it be to you as well.

The Rainbow Bridge
Inspired by a Norse legend
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill, is a lush, green meadow where time stands still. Where the friends of man and woman do run, when their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next, is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play, till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness, for here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness. Their limbs are restored, their health renewed, their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care, until one day they start, and sniff at the air. All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back, then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met; together again, both person and pet. So they run to each other, these friends from long past, the time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart, has turned into joy once more in each heart. They embrace with a love that will last forever, and then side-by-side, they cross over... together.

I was going to feature photos and descriptions of my furry friends who have passed over to the other side. There have been so many wonderful furry family members over the years ...Simply too many to post...
They Are My Friends... My Family... I will love and miss them always...till it's my time to cross over and join them once again....
I have been so blessed over the years to have had so many wonderful souls in my life... Some of the wonderful souls were human... Many ... Most in fact... Were animals ... fish... Or fowl...
Animals have been a major part of my life since my life began, back in 1960. From the wonderful white nanny goat when I was a very small girl... Still on the bottle and sharing it with her...lol... Beautiful curly retriever as a small girl... Spooky...my black horse... Princess my wonderful biting running bay horse... Dusty the raccoon who used to ride on my shoulders (on and off my bicycle) ... Heidi...a red dachund (wiener dog)... Shawn a gorgeous large male cocker spaniel ... Sally a black cocker cross ... Bob the bore (male hog) who loved my coffee on his grain and wore a straw hat... Daisy Mae my wonderful Holstein heifer (young cow) who thought she was a dog... Sweet Little Blue (parakeet) boy who used to chant hurry up Mary over and over when I was a little girl... Delightful Songster Canary who's voice was a delight to my frantic mind and ears... Bloop a fantail gold fish larger than my fist... T.D (Tiny Damsel of Aslan's Pride) my beautiful sable Pom... Tiffy... My roaming Pom friend... Elnore...the rat...otherwise known as a coffee loving chihuahua... She would be in my coffee every chance she got. Raider... Beautiful parti boy... Bosco... The boxer...my companion and personal guard that hung in there the entire year I was so very ill... He died of cancer December 2005...Tillie... By beautiful girl that passed on a bitter cold winter morn early 2006..Yoda, beautiful Malamute Wolf Hybrid that came in from rescue at 10 to 11 years old in 2003 and passed on winter of 2007. I miss his friendship and voice.
Life is a Gift to be Appreciated... Whether Human Animal Fish or Fowl Each in it's own Right
It's difficult being left behind when our friends/family ... Whether human or beast ... Cross over ahead of us and we are left to live. Wish them well on their journey... And continue on...
Life is a journey... Enjoy The Trip Mary E. Robbins
